Julia joined the Chair of Economics in 2006 as a research assistant and started her doctoral studies in fall 2009. She studied economics and business administration at Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (D), EDHEC Lille (F) and University of Regensburg (D). She gained practical experience during internships with Infoterra GmbH, a member of the European Parliament, the German Bundesbank HV Berlin and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). From 2006 to 2013, she was a research assistant to the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU).

Environmental economics and policy, behavioral environmental economics, voluntary carbon markets, carbon offsetting, discrete choice experiments
